Finally, The Lion King was released in The Lion King is calling I must go shirt 1994 and received many compliments. It was such a great success that, in typical fashion, they had to make a musical adaptation of it. The musical was first released in 1997 at a Minnesota theater before going to Broadway later that year. The musical definitely follows the plot of the movie, but it also includes scenes that have been deleted from the movie (like Scar is trying to flirt with Nala in the song when she’s fully grown).
